The Cheapest Ways to Get Rid of a Mattress and a Couch in Henderson

Here is every way to get rid of them in Henderson, cheapest first, and what each one really costs you.

What's the cheapest way to get rid of a mattress and a couch?

There are four real options. Two of them cost nothing but your time.

Will bulk trash pickup take a mattress and a couch?

Usually, yes. Republic Services sends a separate bulk truck every other week, on the same day as your regular trash. A mattress and a couch are exactly what it's for.

Why did the truck leave my mattress behind?

Most often it was soiled and not wrapped in plastic. Unwrapped mattresses get left. The other common reason is size: bulk items have a six-foot limit, which can catch a long sectional.

Can I leave it next to my apartment dumpster?

Can I donate a used mattress or couch?

A couch in good shape, maybe. Call before you load it. Donation centers turn away anything with stains, real damage or pests.

A used mattress is a harder sell. Call first there too, so you don't drive it across town for nothing.

What's included in the $99?

The lifting, the hauling and the dump fee. There's no trip fee and no fuel charge added at the end. We sweep up where the items were. You get a firm price before anything moves, and you don't pay anything if you say no.

What makes it cost more?

No. Leave them where they are, whether that's an upstairs bedroom, the back patio or the garage. We carry them out. That's most of what you're paying for.
