This was a residential junk removal job in MacDonald Highlands. A homeowner had just taken on a beautiful home, and the previous owner left their patio furniture behind. The rooftop deck also had a row of planters full of rock and old fake plants that were falling apart and making a mess.
What was left behind
The new owner wanted the old furniture gone and the planters off the roof. The planters were the hard part. Each one was filled with rock, so it took multiple trips just to empty a single planter before it could be carried out.
Three stories up
The rooftop deck sits three stories up, so everything had to come all the way down before it could go in the trailer. We worked out a system to get the heavy planters down efficiently, and with a few guys on the crew we finished in just a few hours.

The patio set on the lower terrace
The previous owner also left a patio set on the terrace below: a sofa, chairs, a side table and an outdoor rug, all looking out over the valley. It went on the same trip.

The result

It was hard work, but it was a beautiful day and the views were hard to beat. If you just bought a home and the previous owner left furniture, planters, or other heavy items behind, especially somewhere hard to reach like a roof deck or an upper floor, call or text us and send a few photos. We will give you a ballpark price and confirm the final price on site. You can read more about our furniture removal or our work in MacDonald Highlands.
